*We receive a high volume of emails, voicemails and social media messages. These are returned in order of urgency. Emergency calls are responded to as soon as possible, but may take several hours. Please allow several days for us to get back to you in non-emergency situations. We are all volunteers and work other jobs. Multiple messages makes it longer to respond to everyone.

What Counts as an Emergency Contact?
Examples of a TRUE reptile emergency:
A reptile is bleeding and/or dying.
A reptile has severe traumatic injuries.
A venomous reptile or snake poses a hazard.
A reptile has bitten you and won't let go.
A snake larger than 10' is on the loose.
Examples of what is NOT an emergency:
Your iguana got too big and the landlord says it must be gone in 24
hrs.
Your pet snake is loose in the house and you can't find it.
Your Mom says the pet reptile you brought home can't stay.
Your city says your pet alligator is illegal and must be gone in 3
days.
Your pet reptile is sick and you won't take it to a proper exotic vet.
